Nanodownunder: D minus one
May. 31st, 2017 03:29 pmHi! Just a reminder that I'm running this thing on New Zealand time, so we're kicking off tomorrow. You can check-in at any time. I suggest dropping by the comm when you've finished your day's writing, but whatever works for you.
Also:
1. If you haven't already, please drop by the sign-up post and introduce yourself.
2. If you can't see the sign-up post, you need to join the comm. This is the only public post I'm planning to make. Check-in posts will be locked to comm members so we can cheer, chat and commiserate in semi-privacy.
3. Now is a good time to think about auxiliary goals/strategies to help create a productive writing environment for you: for example, map out your writing schedule, plan to stick to a certain bedtime (if that's possible, and if early nights make you a more productive writer), set a temporary limit on twitter/tumblr use, tidy your writing space, stock up on bubble bath... anything that will set the scene and free your mind to focus on your fic, even a little. As with everything, do whatever you know works for you. Nothing's set in stone.
Okay! See you tomorrow! :-D
